Activities of the Censorship and Exile Research Association
In relation to its aim of encouraging research in censorship and exile studies, the Association publishes (in Spanish or English) peer-reviewed scholarly monographs of the highest academic standards and assists with publication of original scholarly work. To encourage the participation of graduate students in its professional activities (symposia, colloquia, seminars and conferences), the Association offers up to 3 conference grants per year.
Dialogues with Censorship-International
One series in Spanish is devoted to Diálogos con la censura, under an exclusive contract with Dr Omar García-Obregón, of Queen Mary, University of London, for studies on theatre performance and censorship in Spain under Franco and shortly thereafter. The Association has put under his editorship another series Dialogues with Censorship-International.
